Selena Gomez is an internationally known actress and singer. She is the star of Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her best-loved shows. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born on July 22, 1992, in Grand Prairie Texas. The parents of Selena include Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Selena was the very first child of her mother who was barely sixteen when she reached the age of Selena. Selena got her first stage show job at the age of nine when she played Gianna in Barney and her Friends. So she was one of numerous children who played with Barney, the infamous Pink Dinosaur, an anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena performed on a variety of episodes of seasons 7 and 8 between 2001 and 2003. Selena Gomez wasn't the only performer to be featured on Barney & His Friends between 2001 and the year 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the team also. Selena Gomez, after she left the TV series, tried to audition for a variety of TV shows and films. There was a small role on Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003. She also had an additional role part in the film as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. In 2006, she played Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. She played the role and wrote a song.
